Mandy Wehe was only 88 pounds and no longer responding to treatments or tube feeds which she was reliant upon. She was bed-bound with round the clock care, with an autonomic nervous system disorder when she tried Real Scientific Hemp Oil. Mandy calls the results a miracle that has completely changed her life.

Mandy, from Parma, Ohio, was 14-years-old when she was diagnosed with Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome, a form of Dysautonomia.

“My heart rate and blood pressure didn’t regulate. Changing position from sitting to standing would cause me to pass out. I could feel and hear but I couldn’t respond to anything,” Mandy said. She would pass out at school and had debilitating symptoms. She had to be homeschooled her last two years of high school. She had a window of healing for a couple years.

“I found the love of Jesus. I have a heart for loving people and for all nations, and I started doing mission work. I encountered the love of God and got involved in ministry,” she said.

Mandy was doing ministry work and stability projects in Africa when she herniated a disc in 2010. Soon after coming home, she was out to eat with family and friends when she collapsed and started convulsing. That was the beginning of a long journey in and out of hospitals.

X-rays showed undigested pills still intact in her stomach. “I would throw up undigested food from up to six days prior. I ended up not be able to take anything by mouth, because I could not digest it. I would throw everything up” she said. By the end of 2011, Mandy was constantly in and out of the hospital and in the ICU and losing weight fast.

“Before I got super sick, I prayed, ‘God, make me into the woman you want me to be for You, for my future husband, others and for ministry, no matter what,” Mandy said. “After getting sick, I called it my ‘no matter what’ season.”

She made it her personal mission to spread love and compassion, even while facing her own circumstances in the hospitals. “I learned about having joy and letting God love through you no matter what you’re going through,” she said.

Mandy was diagnosed with severe gastroparesis. Some of Mandy’s organs started to shut down. Her gall bladder had to be removed and her stomach and part of her intestines were paralyzed. “I had to get a feeding tube placed directly into my small intestines-some of my organs stopped working,” she said. After that, her body continued to act like it was still in surgery, also caused from her dysautanomia, and she suffered chronic nerve pain. Since the majority of her digestive system was paralyzed, she could not eliminate her bowels, and sometimes her bladder. She also suffered from bowel obstructions. This caused her to need several daily medications to move her bowels, including enemas and sometimes treatments in the hospital. At times this complication also needed assistance through catheters. She had been in and out of hospitals numerous times, with her longest stay being 40 days, and in the ICU twice.

“I was taking 20-25 medications per day, was constantly throwing up and nauseous, and convulsing for sometimes over 3 hours at a time, countless times per day. I had no strength from malnourishment, and I don’t remember a lot of it because of how sick I was. I went down to 88 pounds, stopped responding to all treatments and stopped tolerating my tube feeds and the doctors didn’t know what to do anymore.”

FullSizeRender1Medical cannabis had just been legalized in Ohio, but there weren’t facilities to get it. Members of her family and Mandy were getting ready to move out of state to get some to see if it would help. Then Mandy and her dad saw a documentary about the CBD product, Real Scientific Hemp Oil.

“We did some research with RSHO Green and ordered it,” she said. “When we first got it, I was starting to go into convulsions. We melted [the CBD oil] and put it in my feeding tube.” Mandy said what happened next was a miracle.

“It helped within minutes and stopped the convulsions. The next day I tried it under my tongue because at that point there was no loss in trying, I was already throwing up all the time anyway. That time and since, it’s helped in seconds. For six years, not one medication took my nausea away. The CBD oil took my nausea away immediately. It was crazy because within a matter of minutes, color came back to my face and my ears turned pink.”

Soon after, Mandy was able to tolerate her feeds through the feeding tube. Later, she was able to start eating clear liquids, then worked her way up to pureed food, then soft, and finally solid foods. She was most excited to be able to share meals with her loved ones again, and eat her favorite food, sushi. “After six years on laxatives, I started to go on my own. The blood flow is returning to my organs,” she said. She’s down to five medications, and has gained 30 pounds since September.

“I’ve been off my tube feeds for over 4 months, with no convulsions and no throwing up since starting the CBD,” she said. “It was a total miracle from God. It literally saved my life. I will shout it from the rooftops. [RSHO] needs to be available to everyone. I’ve been able to live life again and getting to do ministry again.”

Mandy plans to go back to completing ministry school this summer to get back to doing mission work wherever and whatever the Lord may lead her to, including helping in the restoration and healing process of those that have been abused and neglected and rescued out of sex trafficking. She also wants to bring awareness to disorders like Dysautonomia and Gastroparesis and give hope to people living with it.

Mandy’s mother also saw success in using CBD oil to treat a tumor, and was able to avoid radiation treatment. “It has helped my whole family,” Mandy said.

“There are people who need CBD oil to live and it’s not known about or available – this can change and save people’s lives,” she said. Her mission is to keep spreading the radical love of God and the word about RSHO, no matter what.
