Raw Hemp Energy Balls

This recipe is wonderful for those who are conscious of wanting an energy ball that is dairy-free, gluten-free, vegan, wheat-free, plant-based. It is made with soaked sun-dried dates, ground almonds, cinnamon and hemp seed. Delicious and nutritious for all.
Serves: 10 balls


  • 1 cup sun-dried dates
  • 3 tablespoons shelled hemp seed
  • ¾ cup ground almonds
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Dash of vanilla extract
  • 1 heaped tablespoon of raw cacao powder
  • coconut flakes


  1. Soak 1 cup dates for 2 hours (or until they are already soft).
  2. After 2 hours drain the dates into a bowl.
  3. Add the hemp seeds and vanilla extract. Blend well.
  4. Combine the cinnamon and almonds with blended mixture.
  5. Mix together with a spoon before adding the cacao powder.
  6. Combine again until mixture is well formed and you can make little ball shapes.
  7. Roll the ball in the coconut flakes and enjoy!
